Ed-Tech list members,
I am happy to announce that two of last year's Excellence in Teaching Award winners will be presenting Faculty Lunch and Learn sessions in the near future.
- On Monday, Feb 5, 2007, 12:20-1:10 PM, David Wilson will share his experience with Cross-Disciplinary Team Teaching.
- On Tuesday, Feb 6, 2007, 12:30-1:20 PM, Anthony Krupp will share some of the teaching techniques that he uses to educate rather than instruct his students.
These are wonderful opportunities to hear from other faculty members about what they are doing in their classrooms and to discuss what you are doing or you might make use of these practices. If you are available, please register and attend.
Both sessions will take place in the Whitten University Center, Room 226 (Flamingo Ballroom). Lunch will be served. Registration is limited and required. Please go to http://www.miami.edu/iac and click on the "Lunch and Learn Series" to access the registration links.
After the presentations, recordings will be posted on the http://www.miami.edu/iac web site, for people who are unable to attend.
