[ED-TECH] Clicker Training Tuesday, March 23

A number of classes at UM are successfully using the i>clicker to engage the students in increase learning. If you are considering using clickers in the Fall, I urge you to attend the training session on March 23 to begin to plan for their use. If you know of anyone thinking about using clickers in the Fall, please share this with them.

WHY USE CLICKERS? - This session will start from the beginning, demonstrating the i>clicker, and talking about ways to use it in class. If you don't have any experience with clickers, this is the place to start.

HOW TO USE I>CLICKERS - This session will go through the registration and synchronization process. It will also demonstrate the software that lets you see exactly what each student answered on each question, and more. If you will be using the clickers, this session is almost required.

The two sessions will be repeated once in the morning and once in the afternoon. Snacks will be served in the morning. Lunch will be served in the afternoon. Registration is required. Register by going to http://www.miami.edu/iac and selecting the "Events" menu item. Please register for each of the sessions you will be attending.
