You've heard of impact factors and know to count up citations, but do you know about the h-index and eiginfactor? These are all numbers you can use to evaluate journals, researchers, institutions and individual articles. They're also being used to evaluate you and your work. Friday, February 6, " Demystifying Government Documents" Government and international publications deal with a wide variety of topics such as international affairs, epidemics, declassified information, environmental issues, etc... You can also locate information about recent legislation, reports, maps, and statistics. This session will focus on demystifying government and international documents and provide an overview of the different kinds of publications. Chella Vaidyanathan, Librarian Asst.
