Media Literacy: Getting students to think critically about media

Presented by Scott Britton

Media Literacy generally refers to the ability to locate and think critically about video, music, images and multimedia. In an age where media commonly replaces text as a communication format, students need to understand how to evaluate media for bias and authority, just as they have done with more traditional formats.
