This semester will be FILLED with opportunities for faculty development. One session that I encourage you to attend, is the "SimplyMap" session THIS FRIDAY at 1:00 pm. SimplyMap is a new program that allows you to produce a map showing the geographic distribution of statistical data for any part of the United States. A wide variety of statistics are included such as population, housing, business, health, and MRI consumer data. You can display the data by state, county, zip code, or census tracts or, in the case of businesses, by individual locations. It's easy to learn and fun to use.
